The Assistant Director for Legal and
Democratic Governance has given approval to an application from
Stockport Women and Girls' Network for a grant of £80 from
the Ward Flexibility Fund budget (Edgeley ward allocation) towards
the cost of Stockport’s first ever celebration of Diwali with
our Indian residents, to include crafts, arts, poetry, singing,
musical instruments, dancing, story-telling, journaling and
educational workshops.

The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation
and are in agreement that it be made.
