The Assistant Director for Legal and
Democratic Governance has given approval to an application from
Home Instead Charities for a grant of £125 from the Edgeley
ward allocation towards the cost of setting up a 'Companionship
Café' for older adults in Stockport, including those living
below the poverty line.

The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation
and are in agreement that it be made.
