The Area Committee has
given approval to an application from Stockport Women and
Girls’ Network for a grant of £142 from the Ward
Flexibility Funding Budget (Heatons South ward allocation only)
towards the cost of organising an event for Stockport’s first
celebration of Diwali with local Indian residents, providing
activities such as arts and crafts, singing, dancing and
educational workshops.
