The Area Committee has
given approval to an application received from Cancer Research UK
to host their annual 3K and  5K charity
event at Woodbank Memorial and Vernon Parks on 12 May 2024 between
11:00 and 12:30 hours (set up from 05:00 hours and vacating the
site by 15:30 hours), subject to all appropriate paperwork, fees,
health and safety documentation and licences being obtained and
 submitted to the council at least two
weeks prior to the event taking place (with this being confirmed to
ward councillors).
