The Cabinet Member for
Health and Adult Social Care has considered the responses to two
consultations held between 28 November 2022 and 3 January 2023 in
relation to the introduction of an Expedited Public Spaces
Protection Order for vaccination centres and test and trace sites,
and a further consultation held between 27 March and 24 April 2023
in relation to a proposal to replace the Expedited Public Spaces
Protection Order with a three-year Public Spaces Protection Order
with the same wording and effect.
 
The Cabinet Member for
Health and Adult Social Care has then given approval to the
termination of the current Expedited Public Spaces Protection order
and its replacement it with a three-year Public Spaces Protection
Order and authorised the Assistant Director of Legal and Democratic
Governance to take all steps to implement this decision.
