The Assistant Director for Legal and
Democratic Governance has given approval to an application from
Shaw Heath Men’s Bowling Club for a grant of £60 from
the Ward Flexibility Fund budget (Edgeley & Cheadle Heath ward
allocation) towards the cost of 8 garden parasols to provide
protection from bad and/ or hot weather to the bowling green
players that use the bowling facilities at Alexandra Park, ensuring
the safety of players and encourage them to continue playing.

The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation
and are in agreement that it be made.
