Decision

The Cabinet has considered an overview of Stockport Council’s Anti-Racist Organisation Framework and proposed action plan outlining the vision, principles and priority actions that will support the Council’s ambition to become an anti-racist organisation and ensure that anti-racist practice is embedded across leadership, culture, policy, workforce development and service delivery, and has agreed to:-

(1) Note the background and rationale for the development of the Anti-Racist Organisation Framework.

(2) Endorse the Anti-Racist Organisation Framework and associated action plan.

(3) Support the continued implementation, monitoring and governance arrangements for this programme of work.

(4) Note that progress will be reported through appropriate governance and scrutiny arrangements.
