Decision

The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has given approval to the Traffic Regulation Orders on Wellington Road North, Sparthfield Road, Vaughan Road and Belmont Street (Heaton Norris) and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, that the orders be made:

Part 1. (Heatons South Ward)

Revoke Loading Only:

Sparthfield Road

South East side from a point 31 metres South West of the South Western kerb line of Wellington Road North in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 31 metres.

Extend No Waiting at Any Time:

Sparthfield Road

South East side from a point 23 metres South West of the South Western kerb line of Wellington Road North in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.

North West side from a point 15 metres South West of the South Western kerb line of Wellington Road North in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 36 metres to the North Eastern kerb line of Vaughan Road.

Vaughan Road

North East side from the North Western kerb line of Sparthfield Road in a North Westerly direction for a distance of 9 metres (to tie-in with the aforementioned).

Introduce No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading Monday to Friday 7am – 10am & 4pm – 6pm:

Sparthfield Road

South East side from a point 15 metres South West of the South Western kerb line of Wellington Road North in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 19 metres.

Part 2. Reddish South Ward

No Waiting at Any Time:

Belmont Street

Both sides from the South Western cul-de-sac end for a distance of 10 metres in a North Easterly direction (Inc. the South West limit of the cul-de-sac end a distance of 6.5 metres).

Establishment of a Toucan Crossing Facility with Regulatory Markings:

Wellington Road North

For the full width from a point 38.5 metres North West of the North Western kerb line of Stitch Lane for a distance of 45 metres in a South Easterly direction.

The non-introduction of the proposed measures would have an adverse impact for all road users.
