Decision

The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has given approval to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following orders can be made.

Revoke No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am – 6pm:

Crossley Road

North side from a point 10 metres West of the Western kerb line of Crossley Road in an Easterly direction to a point 10 metres East of the Eastern kerb line of Crossley Road.

Introduce No Waiting at Any Time:

Crossley Road

North side from a point 10 metres West of the Western kerb line of Crossley Road in an Easterly direction to a point 10 metres East of the Eastern kerb line of Crossley Road.

Westholm Avenue

Both sides from the Northern kerb line of Crossley Road in a Northerly direction for a distance of 10 metres (to tie in with the aforementioned).

Alternative options considered

To not introduce a Traffic Regulation Order, however this would not promote road safety and good traffic management.
