Following approval at
Werneth Area Committee of a report
recommending the diversion of public footpath 64 Bredbury and
Romiley, an order was made and advertised between 24 July and 23
August 2024.

As no objections were received, article 17 of the Constitution
authorises the Director of Place Management “ To authorise
the confirmation of Public Rights of Way Orders provided that there
is no outstanding objection to the Order as made.”

The Director thus Confirmed this order on 5 September 2024.
