The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways and
Transport Services has given approval to:
(1) the legal advertisement of the Traffic Regulation Order for
waiting/loading restrictions;
(2) the Moving Traffic Regulation Order;
(3) the 20mph Speed Limit Order; and
(4) the Legal Notices required for signalised Pedestrian crossings
and Traffic Calming Measures for the City Region Sustainable
Transport Settlement Scheme at Heaton Chapel and, that subject to
no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement
date, that the orders be made (as detailed in the schedule and
associated drawings at appendix A).

Alternative options considered

Several options were considered during the
design of the scheme, including taking into account feedback
received from the consultation. It was considered that the final
design reflects the best options available to deliver the scheme
within the available budget.
