statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order at
Brown Lane, Elmsleigh Road and Styal
Road and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days
from the advertisement date, that the order be made (at a cost of
£1,300, to be funded by the Delegated Budget (Heald Green
ward allocation))

Alternative options considered

Whilst there was no
evidence that all the vehicles parking close to the junction(s)
were related to the nearby businesses, the businesses located
within close proximity to the Brown Lane and Styal Road junction
had been approached and requested not to use Brown Lane as overflow
parking for their businesses.
