& Housing has given approval to the pilot programme for Out of
Borough Placements and accompanying Equality Impact
Assessment.

Alternative options considered

The pilot could support the council in
fulfilling its homeless duties, given the unprecedented levels of
housing demand in the borough. See Appendix 1 for further
information on options considered.
