Purpose
To seek approval for the Council’s new Workforce Strategy for 2026-2029.
Decision
Agreed (i) - That Cabinet approves and adopts the Workforce Strategy for 2026-2028.
Agreed (ii) - That Cabinet notes the arrangements for delivery, governance and review of the Strategy through the Organisational Development Working Group.
Agreed (iii) – That Cabinet delegates authority to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance, Anti-Poverty, Governance and Corporate Services to oversee the implementation of the Strategy, ensuring alignment with Local Government Reorganisation and available financial resources.
