Submission of the delivery plan at annex 1 of this report to The Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) for Crisis Resilience Fund, pursuant to the delegated authority granted by Cabinet on 19 May 2026.

Reasons for the decision

Communications may award grant agreements in line with the approved delivery plan and within the approved budget, subject to approval of the delivery plan by DWP, completion of satisfactory due diligence and compliance checks and recipients entering into the Council's grant funding terms and conditions.
The undertaking of a compliant procurement process and award of a contract with a third party provider to deliver the Crisis Payment Scheme, in line with all relevant procurement legislation and the Council’s Procurement Code.
