Statement of Common Ground
between Stratford-on-Avon District Council and the South
Worcestershire Councils regarding the South Worcestershire
Development Plan Review 2023-2041

Content

To endorse the Statement of
Common Ground set out at Appendix 1 and agree for it to be
submitted to the South Worcestershire Councils (Malvern Hills
District Council, Wychavon District Council and Worcester City
Council) on behalf of the Stratford-on-Avon District Council, and
Warwick District Council in the context of joint plan making on the
South Warwickshire Local Plan.

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that the Statement of
Common Ground reflects the previous work that has been undertaken
between the authorities and a commitment to ensure future
cooperation covering matters of a wider strategic nature are
considered between the two authorities moving forward through the
Local Plan process.
