Decision One -
To authorise that the following organisations
receive funding from the Community Climate and Nature Fund:
£1,042 to Upper
Lighthorne Parish Council for the
delivery of their project, “Action for Hedgehogs”.
£1,620 to
Shipston-on-Stour Town Council for the delivery of their project,
“Increasing Biodiversity at Cornmill Meadows”.
£6,000 to
Ilmington Community Shop Ltd for the
delivery of their project “Solar Panel
Installation”.
£4,980 to The
Bear Pit Theatre for the delivery of their project “LED
Theatre Stage Lighting”.
£1,085 to
Stratford Sports Club for the delivery of their project
“Smart Cellar”.
£5,426 to
Escape Arts for the delivery of their project “Nourish and
Flourish”.
£5,500 to
Shottery Memorial Hall for the delivery
of their project “Solar PV and Battery Installation.
£2,152 to
Tysoe Village Hall Trust for the
delivery of their project “Don’t Get Cold
Feet”.
£7,750 to
Stockton Village Hall Committee for the delivery of their project
“Installation of Solar Panels and Battery
Storage”.
£1,392 to
Tiddington Village Residents Association for the delivery of their
project “SafeAvon
Tiddington”.
£4,790 to the
Shakespeare Hospice for the delivery of their project “Avenue
Farm LEF Lighting”.
£4,370 to the
Warwickshire Rural Hub for the delivery of their project
“Online Hub for South Warwickshire Area Network for
Wildlife”.
£9,850 to
Kineton Village Hall Association for the delivery of their project
“Insulate Village Hall”.
Decision Two –
The provision of grant funding in line with
the above would result in the provision of £55,957 of grant
funding. The total funds approved for delivery in the second round
of the Community Climate and Nature Fund is £55,863.
Therefore, having consulted with the Portfolio Holder for Climate
Change, it is authorised that a further £94 will be taken
from the Council’s earmarked Climate Change Reserve to enable
the delivery of the projects listed above.
Decision Three –
Having consulted with the Portfolio Holder for
Climate Change, the application submitted by the Heart of England
Forest for £7,500 to deliver their “Back to Nature Pond
Project” be supported by £7,500 taken directly from the
Council’s earmarked Climate Change Reserve.
