That the Council will grant the
lease to the Clopton Community Action Group.
 

Reasons for the decision

The current lease to the Group
ends on 16.10.25. The Group provides community facilities for the
benefit of local residents and organisations and the permitted use
of the lease will be just for this use for a further 7
years.   The Group is responsible
for repairs and outgoings for the building. The rent reflects the
community benefit and will be a peppercorn as
previously.
The Council’s interests
will be protected as the lease will be drafted by Legal
Services.
