Content

To endorse the Memorandum of
Understanding set out at Appendix 2 and agree for it to be
submitted to the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Association of
Planning Officers (CSWAPO) group on behalf of Stratford-on-Avon
District Council.

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that the MoU reflects
the officer and member level work that has been undertaken to date
across the HMA and FEMA to quantify housing and employment
need.
The MOU seeks to ensure that as
the Local Planning Authorities develop their Local Plans at
differing paces, the housing and employment needs of the HMA and
FEMA area met.
Warwick District Council have
already agreed to become signatories too.

Alternative options considered

To send the
Memorandum of Understanding as drafted;
To amend the
Memorandum of Understanding; or
To not send the
Memorandum of Understanding.
