That the Council will enter
into deed of surrender of part to surrender 54
Kendall Avenue from a portfolio lease made between SDC (1) and
Spring Housing Association (2) dated 15.1.25.
Reasons for the decision
The Empty Dwelling Management
Order in respect of 54 Kendall Avenue has expired. As a result, the Council no longer has control of
the property and can no longer let the property to Spring Housing
Association. The portfolio lease anticipates this property will be
surrendered and provides a procedure to follow.
Alternative options considered
1)
Agree to enter into deed of surrender of part;
or
2)
To not agree.
