That the Council will grant a
lease to the former licensee for six years.
 

Reasons for the decision

The parcel of land is adjacent
to residential properties and is held by the Council for possible
long-term use.
It is not covered by a current
local housing needs survey therefore a local need housing scheme is
unlikely in the next few years.
As currently no use is
identified, the use of a lease in the interim protects the
Council’s interest.
The proposed lease will be
documented by Legal Services with their costs being
covered.
