To grant variation of the
existing contract in accordance with paragraph 12 of the general
delegation to Heads of Service in the Scheme of
Delegations:
 

12.To
exercise all powers in relation to procuring, letting and managing
contracts, (subject to any restrictions imposed by Contract
Standing Orders) to include any necessary variation within budget,
to include the service of default notices or any other action
necessary to deal with non-performance;
 
 

Reasons for the decision

To enable the existing
consultants, Land Use Consultants Limited, to undertake the work to
explore the possibilities of going beyond 10% Biodiversity Net Gain
in the South Warwickshire Local Plan.

Alternative options considered

Not obtaining the
evidence to investigate the possibilities of going beyond 10% BNG;
or
Obtaining the
evidence to investigate the possibilities of going beyond 10%
BNG.
