To agree to enter into a 4 year
contract to use The National Parking Platform
(NPP) from 1 April 2026.

Reasons for the decision

The National Parking Platform
allows multiple apps to be used by drivers to pay for parking,
making it easier for customers to pay. Drivers can choose the app
they want to use.
Currently the service is
provided purely by RingGo. This contract expires at the end of
March 2026 and cannot be extended further.

Alternative options considered

Carrying on with RingGo – not possible due to
procurement regulations; or

·        
Using NPP.
