Purpose

Statement of Common Ground
between Warwick District Council, Stratford-on-Avon District
Council and Coventry City Council in relation to the Coventry Local
Plan Review (2021-2041)
 

Content

To endorse the Statement of
Common Ground set out at Appendix 1 and agree for it to be
submitted to Coventry City Council for the purposes of the
examination of their Local Plan.
 

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that the Statement of
Common Ground reflects the previous work that has been undertaken
between the authorities, covering both areas of agreement and
disagreement. It is part of the Council’s role under the Duty
to Co-operate to work constructively, actively and on and on-going
basis regarding strategic planning matters which cross
administrative boundaries.

Alternative options considered

1.To send the
Statement of Common Ground as drafted;
2.To amend the
Statement of Common Ground; or
3.To not send the
Statement of Common Ground.
