Granting of licence to Citizen's Advice South Warwickshire
October 30, 2023 Deputy Chief Executive (Officer) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Purpose
To consider granting a licence
to Citizen’s
Advice South Warwickshire (CAB) for the use
of some of the customer stations within Elizabeth House reception,
the use of a meeting room when available and access to the kitchen
and toilets for CAB staff.
Content
To grant a licence on the
following terms:
For a period of three
years.
Licence fee £1 if
demanded.
Either party may end the
licence with three months’ notice.
The property to be used to
provide information and support to the public.
There are no costs to the
Council in granting the lease.
Reasons for the decision
Senior officers were approached
by CAB to see if the Council can make the space
available. The proposal is necessary
and urgent and is an arrangement which better suits the
public.
Alternative options considered
Consider if the land could be
used for another purpose? This is probably limited due to the
location within the Council’s reception area.
