To grant a lease of the land on
the following terms:
A term of five years
Rent: £1650 per annum
plus VAT
To use the land for parking
vehicles associated with the use of the shop
43-45 Sheep Street
There are no costs to the
Council in granting the lease.

Reasons for the decision

The previous lease held by the
tenant has expired. 
 

Alternative options considered

Consider if the land could be
used for another purpose? 
The land could be used for
parking permits; however the proposed
rent reflects the same sums the Council can achieve for three
spaces so there is no financial advantage in letting the land by
way of permits.
