Decision

The Executive RESOLVED that

(i)                 the publication of the Council’s formal “Notice of Intention to Commence” the Local Plan Review before 30th June 2026 be approved;

(ii)                the publication of the Local Plan Review timetable be approved;

(iii)              authority be delegated to the Director of Built Environment and Regulation, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Built Environment and Regulation, to approve updates to the Local Plan Review timetable;

(iv)             authority be delegated to the Director of Built Environment and Regulation, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Built Environment and Regulation, to submit and publish the required documents for statutory Gateway assessment 1;

(v)               authority be delegated to the Director of Built Environment and Regulation, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Built Environment and Regulation, to publish all evidence base documents; and

(vi)             authority be delegated to the Director of Built Environment and Regulation, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Built Environment and Regulation to deliver the statutory “scoping stage” consultation and engagement strategy.
