Purpose

To
seek authority to confirm additional budget to continue to progress the project
including identified additional structural requirements discovered during the
initial refurbishment process at Mynydd Newydd
Changing Rooms as a key aspect of the wider site development.

 

To
comply with Financial Procedure Rule 7 (Capital Programming and Appraisals): to
commit and authorise schemes on to the Capital Programme.

Content

Approved that

 

1)       Capital funds
set aside for this site development as match funding for a Sport Wales capital
bid as agreed in DPR report pursuant to FPR 7.3 dated 4/6/2024 and updated on
14/2/2025 be utilised.

 

2)       Capital scheme
for the Mynydd Newydd Changing Rooms refurbishment
following tendering of the work, final receipt of Sport Wales funding Grant,
and additional RCCO from ERF funds, bringing full updated project cost to
£520k.
