Purpose

The report details the outcome of the consultation in respect of the Council’s proposal to pass a new resolution not to issue casino premises licences (a No Casino Resolution), proposed amendments to the City and County of Swansea’s Statement of Principles (Gambling Policy), sets out the legislative provisions that enable a licensing authority to pass a resolution not to issue casino premises licences, the effects of passing the resolution and the proposed changes to the Council’s Gambling Policy.
