Purpose

1. Permission is sought to allow the legal
process of introducing a Prohibition of Waiting Order at various
junctions along Lodge Lane, Dukinfield to commence.
2. Permission is sought to allow the formal procedure for the
introduction of a 24-hour bus stop clearway on Lodge Lane,
Dukinfield to commence.

Content

That it be DETERMINED that:

1.      
Permission is given under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 to advertise a Prohibition of Waiting Order on
Lodge Lane, Westmorland Avenue, Maurice Close, Ellesmere Close and
Lodge Close, Dukinfield.

2.      
Permission is given in accordance with the Traffic
Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 for the formal
procedure of introducing a 24-hour bus stop clearway on Lodge Lane,
Dukinfield, to commence.

3.      
Any unresolved objections will be reported at a
future Speakers Panel (Planning) meeting.  If the proposals to introduce waiting restrictions
clearway are subsequently approved, then a legal Order will be made
to reflect the decision.
