That it be DETERMINED that:
To
seek approval on the terms provisionally agreed with the adjacent
proprietor for the sale of land of the site of the former 107,
Crawford Street, Ashton.  Terms as set
out in the report.

Reasons for the decision

1.    
Do nothing and incur vacant land costs and the
potential for other parties to claim the land.  This has been rejected due to the financial
implication and risk to a Council owned asset.

2.    
Consider an alternative route to market.  An agent could be appointed to carry out a
marketing exercise but there is likely to be no wider interest if
it is offered for sale by auction.
