To approve the conversion to academy
status

Content

That it be DETERMINED that:

    
I.      
The Borough
Solicitor is authorised to enter into a
125-year Lease in respect to the school site with the Emmaus
Catholic Academy Trust.

  
II.      
The pension
arrangements be agreed so that Academy Trust funds are pooled with
Council funds, in respect of the pension liabilities in the Greater
Manchester Pension Fund.

 III.      
Authority
be delegated to the Director of Resources or their nominated
representative, to execute any necessary Greater Manchester Pension
Fund for Transferee Admission Bodies documentation.

IV.      
The conversion of St Christophers RC Primary School
to take place on or around 1 March 2025, or as soon as possible
thereafter.
