Purpose

This decision is required to enable this
funding to be accepted and utilised within Tameside to expand local
Childcare provision.

Content

That it be determined that:

1.      
Tameside Council accept funding of £0.336m
from Department for Education (DfE) for the purposes of supporting
the early years sector to deliver the final phase of the childcare
entitlements expansion from September 2025.

2.      
The methodology for the allocation of grant detailed
in Section 2.5 be approved.
