Purpose

The Council has successfully secured
£0.415m of Grant Funding from MHCLG. The EDN sets out details
of the grant funding agreement and recommends approval to accept
the funding.

That it be DETERMINED that:

The Council agrees to accept grant funding of
£0.415m from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local
Government (MHCLG) from the Local Authority Housing Fund
(LAHF).

The Council agree to sign the Memorandum of
Understanding with MHCLG which describes the agreed
working relationship between ‘MHCLG and the Council regarding
the administration and delivery of the LAHF. The outcomes set out
in the MoU will be delivered on the same basis as the Homeless
Families Leasing Project. MHCLG has confirmed the Council is able
to deliver additional units, above the set targets, where funding
allows.
