Purpose

This report proposed an interim spending plan ahead
of the confirmation of Tameside’s allocation of Household
Support Funding for 2025/2026 to ensure the continuation of free
school meals support for the May 2025 holiday period.

RESOLVED
That Executive
Cabinet:

Agree to continue with the
provision of free school meals support of £10 per week for
each eligible child for the May school holiday period as set out in
this report.
Agree that a further report
outlining the full spending plan for 2025/26 will be brought to
Executive Cabinet following the grant funding allocation and scheme
guidance assessment by the Council.
