Purpose

To seek approval for the purchase of fleet and
equipment following completion of the procurement
process.

Content

Approval is given to purchase the fleet and
equipment identified in this report using the prices obtained
through the procurement process.

Reasons for the decision

1.    
The Executive Cabinet approved the Council’s
7-year Fleet Replacement Strategy on 23 March 2022.

2.    
Following various internal service reviews the
number of items was reduced from 40 to 27.  A procurement exercise was completed and prices
obtained, and the number of items reduced to 24.  Approval is sought to purchase the 24 items of
fleet and equipment.
