Purpose

The report provided an update on the Ashton
Town Centre Shopping Centre sites, St Petersfield and potential for
an Ashton Regeneration Partnership model to progress development
and regeneration in the Town Centre.

Content

RESOLVED
That Executive
Cabinet approve:
(i)            
The Ashton Town Centre Masterplan in relation to the shopping
centre sites and adjoining land.
(ii)           
The St Petersfield Design Briefing Document as an addendum to
the Masterplan Vision document and site wide prospectus document
for St Petersfield, produced in 2021.
(iii)         
The procurement of external advice and technical work, funded
via the Greater Manchester Growth Locations Programme, to support
consideration of a potential Ashton Regeneration Partnership
model.
