Purpose

The works costs of constructing Meadow View
are above the allocated budget. Council Officers have been
successful in value engineering the works costs and finding
additional sources of capital to contribute to the revised
budget.
Discussions with the DfE have been undertaken and a request for an
extension of time to complete the project have been accepted.
A bid for further capital will be made to the DfE to further
increase the current budget.

The approved capital programme funding that is
allocated to the following schemes detailed below is vired to the
Meadow View capital scheme, a total virement of
£0.455m

£0.367m for Boyds Walk

£0.088m for Unallocated Short Breaks prior
year grant

The
revised total Meadow View capital scheme budget will be
£3.820m.
