Purpose

The current contract started on 1 April 2022 for two years to 31
March 2024 with an option to extend for up to two years to 31 March
2026.  This report seeks permission to access
this extension, allowing time for a review and retender of the
service.

That it be DETERMINED that:

(i)            
Approval to extend the current contract provision from 1 April 2024
to 31 March 2026 with an annual contract price of
£0.090m.

(ii)           
Approval to review and retender the Children’s Rights and
Advocacy Service with intention to start a new contract on 1 April
2026 with a maximum annual contract value of £0.090m for a
period of two years with an option to extend for a further two
years
