Purpose

The decision is required to formalise the Council's
commitment, approved by Executive Cabinet on 29 January 2025, to
enter into a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding with TfGM
and other Greater Manchester local authorities to facilitate
procurement and delivery of electric vehicle charging
infrastructure, funded through the LEVI programme.

That it be DETERMINED that:
Approval is granted to enter into the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) for the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure
(LEVI) Programme with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM),
Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, and each of the other
Greater Manchester Local Authorities.
