Purpose

Following the award of funding from the football foundation,
governance was approved to begin procuring the
unit.  The procurement exercise has been
completed and a lead provider identified.  The
report seeks to give approval to award the tender.
 
The project is to install a modular changing room unit at the
playing fields.
 
There is grass pitch maintenance equipment to purchase and a
shipping container as part of the project which are to be priced
and installed.

DETERMINED
(i) Following the tender process through Star
procurement CHESTER COMPOSITES LTD are awarded the tender to
construct a modular changing room block at Hollingworth Juniors
Football Club, Hawthorns Send School, Manley Grove, Hattersley.
(ii) A contract be entered into with Chester Composites Ltd with
a value of £0.141m.
(iii) Natural turf pitch maintenance equipment and a storage
container be purchased to a value of £0.022m and
£0.005m respectively.
(iv) The remainder of the budget be used for the planning
application of the changing room block, a storage container and as
contingency for the remaining elements of the scheme.
