Purpose

Magic Notes is an AI-powered tool developed by Beam, designed to
assist social workers in creating detailed case notes and
assessments from recorded sessions.
Magic Notes leverages artificial intelligence to automate the
process of generating comprehensive case notes and assessments. It
works by analysing recorded sessions and extracting relevant
information to create detailed reports. Outputs are reviewed by
staff then copied and pasted into the case management system Liquid
logic. Magic Notes results in the following benefits:

Increased Productivity: By automating the note-taking process,
social workers can save significant time, allowing them to focus
more on direct client interactions and other critical tasks.
Enhanced Accuracy: AI ensures that the notes are thorough and
accurate, reducing the risk of human error and ensuring compliance
with regulatory standards.
Consistency: The tool provides consistent documentation, which
is crucial for maintaining high standards in case management and
assessments.
Improved Compliance: Magic Notes helps ensure that all
necessary information is captured and documented correctly, aiding
in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
Ease of Use: The tool is designed to be user-friendly, making
it accessible for social workers with varying levels of technical
expertise.

It is expected that the implementation of Magic Notes will
save social workers time by providing recording and
transcription services which significantly streamlines
administrative tasks within the service areas including but not
limited to; assessment write ups, supervisions, strategy meetings,
case note and dictations.  Adults and
Children’s Services spend large quantities of time on
administrative tasks which is time that would be better spent
having valued conversations with people (service users)
