Purpose

Successful delivery of the prioritised highway safety
programme will help to reduce injury incidents and the severity of
injury incidents on Tameside’s roads in line with the Greater
Manchester Vision Zero Strategy.

Content

That it be DETERMINED that:
(i) Approval is granted to deliver a Highway Safety
scheme on Ashton Road, Denton.
(ii) Permission is given under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 to advertise a one-way traffic Order on Lupton Street,
Denton.
(iii) Any unresolved objections will be reported at a future
Speakers Panel (Planning) meeting.  If the
proposals to introduce waiting restrictions are subsequently
approved, then a legal Order will be made to reflect the
decision.
