Purpose

To enable the virement of funding
to complete a feasibility study and associated enabling works
ensuring that a strategic definition, project brief, and concept
design can be drafted to determine the deliverable benefits of
creating a new dedicated staff, visitor, and customer entrance into
Tameside One. 
The feasibility study and
associated works will also ensure that Tameside College are able to
commence their fit out of the ground floor former retail space for
post sixteen provision unimpeded.

1.     
The requirement
for a feasibility study and associated enabling works as detailed
within the main body of this report are accepted.

2.     
The virement of
£0.123m to finance the related feasibility study and
associated enabling works is approved from the remaining earmarked
£0.153m WorkSmart budget within the approved 2025/26 capital
programme.

The Tameside
One Proposed New Entrance Feasibility Study and Associated enabling
works is included within the approved 2025/26 capital programme
with a budget sum of £0.123m.
