Purpose

To implement a cloud-based software
system for cemeteries and crematorium management, ensuring that all
aspects of the department are covered in one piece of software and
ensuring security for the service in the future.

This supplier has been identified
through the G-Cloud framework and is the only supplier who can
offer a solution to all elements required, which after consultation
with STAR means we can proceed with a direct award.

The current bereavement software
(BACAS) is extremely dated and is in desperate need for an update,
the service is having to use a number of different solutions using
various software packages to cover all areas of
bereavement.

Support for our current version of
BACAS will end on the 1 April 2026.

To award a
36-month contract with the option for an additional 12-months at a
cost of £0.084m to manage the technical implementation of
Plotbox Pro for the Council.

2.     
With an
additional cost of £0.016m per annum for support and user
licenses.
