Purpose

Approval is sought to deliver a
bus stop enhancement scheme at bus stop EH0728 Stockport Road /
Cross Street, Mossley bus stop.

 

Successful delivery of this
scheme, as part of the wider Bus Pinch Points project will serve to
enhance Greater Manchester’s bus network by improving access
to and from stops and making bus journeys more reliable.

Approval is
granted to deliver a bus stop enhancement scheme at bus stop EH0728
Stockport Road / Cross Street, Mossley bus stop.

2.        
Tameside
Metropolitan Borough Council in exercise of its powers under
Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) and 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 is granted permission to give public notice of a
Prohibition of Waiting Order on Stockport Road, Mossley.

3.        
Approval is
granted to give public notice of a 24-hour bus stop clearway at bus
stop EH0728, in accordance with the council’s procedure for
the consultation and implementation of bus stop
clearways.
