Purpose

The Council hold a ground lease
between The Mayor and Burgesses of the Borough of Hyde and Mr. And
Mrs B M Short in respect of land situate at Broadway,
Hyde.  The lease is vested with the
Council.

The terms of the lease is for a
period of 99 years from 29 September 1973.  The rent passing from review on 29 September
2015 is £0.007m per annum.

The current tenant is ASPLAND GUAGE
COMPANY LIMITED acting by its liquidator Francesca Tackie of
Mercury Corporate Recovery Solutions Limited.

The proposed tenant is G BAYLEY
PLUMBING AND HEATING LIMITED.

The current tenant is seeking
consent to assign the lease to the proposed tenant.

Landlord’s consent is
required.
