Purpose

This report
sought approval for Tameside Borough Council to accept this funding
and to allocate 50% of the grant funding to the VCFSE Sector via
Action Together as set out by the GMCA grant funding agreement
(Appendix 1- Grant Funding Agreement).

RESOLVED

(i)                
That approval be
given to accept the Live Well Implementation Support Fund (LWISF)
2025-26 allocation of £0.806m from the Greater Manchester
Combined Authority (GMCA).

(ii)              
That approval be
given to the allocation of 50% of the funding (£0.403m) to
the VCFSE Sector via Action Together (as specified in the grant
conditions), with the remaining 50% (£0.403m) to remain with
Tameside council to be allocated to the delivery of the LiveWell
Implementation Project as required by the GMCA.

(iii)            
That approval be
given to the immediate outline spending plans for the council
allocation of the funding to deliver our Live Well Implementation
Plan for Tameside as detailed in section 3 of this report, which
would be further developed by the councils Corporate Leadership
Team.
