Purpose

The report provides an update of the current position on the implementation of the adopted Droylsden Town Centre Masterplan.  It gives strategic advice and recommendations on the next steps the Council should be taking to implement the Masterplan and actions relating to the consequences.

Alternative options considered

 The alternative options of not making the decisions were rejected, due to the risks set out within the report as to unknown costs and implications, including potential failure to deliver elements of the Droylsden Masterplan.
