Purpose

This report updates on the position with regards to external revenuefunding for project work at Ashton Town Centre, and Droylsden from theGreater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).It seeks approval toaccept and spend the funding under the terms of the Grant FundingAgreement.

Decision

RESOLVED

That Executive Cabinet approves:

(i)                The acceptance of the four grant funding allocations from GMCA asset out in Section 2;

(ii)              The allocation of required match funding as set out in Section 2; and

(iii)            The Director of Strategic Growth to manage the programme of works associated with the Grant Fund Agreements and

(iv)            to commission, drawdown and incur all expenditure related to delivery with ongoing performance and

(v)              Reporting to be provided to Executive Cabinet, or other suitable forum, on a periodic basis subject to the requirements of the Council Constitution and in particular financial standing orders.

To not accept the grant funding allocated by GMCA
